A blend of orange, bergamot, amber, and vanilla.  

There's no way to describe Summer Sun without using the word perfect. A perfect end to a perfect day. It's just that good. Clean with just a hint of orange and bergamot this scent then brings in vanilla and amber in the most amazing way. Husbands are loving this one because it's not too sweet or floral. We think this scent will be around as a customer favorite for a long time to come. 

All of our candles and wax melts are made from 100% coconut soy wax and hand-poured in small batches in our Kingsland, GA studio. Unlike paraffin wax, which is made from petroleum, coconut soy wax is made entirely from organic, renewable material, meaning the candles will burn cleaner and produce nearly zero soot or smoke. Coconut soy wax is all natural, non-GMO, biodegradable and vegan. You will rest easier knowing you have selected a non-toxic candle to burn in your home. 

Candle Care - Always trim wicks to 1/4" before each burn. Never burn a candle more than 4 hours, any longer creates a fire risk. Burn candles anywhere from 1-4 hours each time. You want a full melt pool to reach the side of the jar before you extinguish the flame but never burn longer than 4 hours at one time. If a flame is burning too high, smoking or flickering, extinguish the candle and wait for the candle to cool. Once it has cooled, cut the wick to 1/4" before lighting again. Do not place candles near blowing vents or ceiling fans. Do not leave candles unattended or in the reach of children and pets. After candle has cooled, always cover with the lid to prolong the aroma. 

Total burn times will vary depending on many factors but the typical time for our candles is 60-84 hours for the 13 oz., 60-70 hours for the 11 oz., 15-30 hours for the 5 oz. 

Recommended Room Size - 13 oz. candles are best for large bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and average size living areas. 11 oz. candles are best for bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, offices and small living areas. 5 oz. candles are best for bathrooms, small office spaces or other small room. 

Wax Melt Care - To achieve the strongest scent from wax melts, it is best to use a tea light or electric melter. The Cottage Candle Company does not recommend melters which use light bulbs. Break off 1-2 wax cubes and make sure to reseal the package to prolong the aroma. Wax cubes may be reused as long as the scent lasts. Discard used wax only after wax has cooled enough to handle. Do not use chemicals to clean your melter as it may release toxins when warmed. Do not leave wax melters unattended. Keep wax out of the reach of children and pets. 

Room Spray Care - Shake well before each use! Do not spray on skin, surfaces or furniture. Spray in the center of the room. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow. Keep away from children, pets and flammable objects.
